果樹的比喻 (路加福音6)

     有一天，耶穌對門徒說：「一棵好的果樹是不會結壞果子的。你們從一棵樹結的果子就可以認出那是甚麼果樹。人人都知道從荊棘裏摘不到無花果，同樣的，從野薔薇裏也找不到葡萄。」
    耶穌望著聽眾，繼續說：「你們可以從一個人的良善、仁慈和有愛心的行為，看出他是一個良善、仁慈和有愛心的人。這些善行，就好比一種特別的果子在他們的心中生長。同樣地，當你看見有些人的言行充滿憎恨、憤怒或嫉妒，就知道他們心中充滿這些邪惡的念頭。」

     "A good tree will not grow bad fruit,' said Jesus one day."And you can tell what sort of tree it is by looking at the fruit. Everyone knows you can't pick figs from a thorn bush. And you don't find grapes growing on a briar vine."
      Jesus looked into the eyes of His listeners and continued, "You can know if someone is good, kind, and loving when you see them doing good, kind,and loving deeds. These deeds are like a special kind of fruit that grows from their hearts. In the same way you can know whem you see someone who acts out of hatred or anger or jealousy that this person has the same kind of evils inside of them."
